What I’m an Expert In

I was looking at an article about raising blog subscriptions. One of the things is to have a laser focus to your blog. I’d like to have a successful blog, but Reactuate is really a journal blog, and not focused on any one thing. I tried a focused blog, one on cooking, but it eventually petered out. So I got to thinking, I’d need to be an expert in the the choose topic. What am I an expert in?

I’m an expert, meaning I know most of what there is to know, in one thing.

MacOS programming.

I’m knowledgeable in these things.

Photography - specifically people studio photography
Apologetics
Firearms
Cooking
Blogging
Survival
Church Planting
Video Productions - Though somewhat out of date.

Now to start a new blog I’d need to enjoy posting on a regular basis and over a longer term. Despite doing it for a living - or maybe because of doing it for a living - I don’t want a blog on Mac programming.

Of the others, I don’t think I could sustain any of them for a real long time. Just like the cooking blog. So what to do. What to do?

What are you, dear reader, are you an expert in?

Had to look that up. :) Pretty good. I’m not really a good sciolist myself.

    Grammar. Yucky for blog.

Writing. Hmm. That’s what I do for a blog.

Literature. No, don’t think that will go over well. Plus, what would I add that Cliff, Pink Monkey, and all those other Notes don’t do.

I dont’ want to be an online tutor, so… I think I’ll stay a diarist.

You homeschooled two boys from 1st grade to early college. That makes you an expert in homeschooling.

You are also a teacher at various levels, but your an expert at the college level.
