Best of the Best: The Morning After.

Well it is Monday morning and the competition is over.

Thank God.

I’m physically, emotionally and creatively drained. Right now if I never took another picture it would be too soon. But I think I will get over that.

My roommate, Mike Newbern, was the winner. Which is funny because I wrote him before the competition and told him he was going to win. He has a really good eye and knows how to get what he wants. He doesn’t get flustered. He doesn’t let other things or people take over the shoot.

The best part of the competition was how all of us photographers laughed so much. I couldn’t have made it through with out all the laughter.

I’m not going to talk about the worst parts, let’s just say I had some emotional low points that were worse than I’ve had in years. I got put into a level of stress I’m just not able to handle.

I need to give the competition and my images some time before I really go back and deal with them. So expect some more posts from me in a few days.
