I followed a referrer link today to the yadda.org site. I had posted that the author of the blog should go ahead and color her hair red and someone had followed the link in the comment here. She did it by the way, I’m looking forward to a picture.
But that’s not the point of this post. I went to the site and found it almost unreadable because of a CSS error. Being the anal retentive person I am, I had to figure out why. So I downloaded the source for the main page and started messing with it. Spent at least 30 minutes on it before I discovered an extra bracket in the CSS file.
I’d been putting problems I was finding into an email to mail when I found the problem. But when I was ready to send it I went looking for an email address to send it to. And couldn’t find one. Ultimately I just put the message in a comment, but it made me think.
Do I have an email address publicly available on my site? Nope.
So I’m going to add one to my About Me. To avoid even more spam than I already get I’m putting NO_SPAM into the address. To avoid the possibility of a wacko getting it and rendering the address unusable, I created a new address just for this purpose that I could toss if I need to.
